I’m thrilled to introduce my sons, Justin and Billy, and my loving husband, Dwight.

             Justin

Delightful, deep, sweet, shy but daring,

a ham at cooking treats and sharing.

A writer on a fast retreat,

he’s slow to miss a quip or beat.

A thinker-stinker, feeler, sly,

tongue-twister, blinker, teaser guy!

He loves to run and show He’s strong;

With Christ inside, He fast-flees wrong.

 

 

             Billy

Sharp, witty, wild and loads of fun,

wise tiger on a tell-tale run.

A feeler of the feisty kind,

revealer of an open mind.

He loves to sing and ride guitar,

our dazzle-shining social star.

Quick, open, kind, and super smart,

He loves His God with yielded heart.

 

 

             Dwight

A brainy techie for a living,

a tender friend who gives, forgiving;

A warrior great, who loves to pray,

ride bikes, hug tikes, fly kites, and play.

A man who shines God’s grace on sin,

submits to Christ and claims great win.

Committed to His faithful part,

He leans on Christ with sin-cleansed heart.

 

 

             Cheryl

A Jesus-lover, feeler, gal

who aches to be a listening pal.

An artist-hearted tender soul

who scours God’s Word to rise up whole.

A dreamer big who drinks deep light,

upturns hard earth while writing tight.

A mother to her own and more,

a boat who pulls the world to Shore.
