In a media world dominated by the visual realm, DiCianni sees himself as “a Christian cleverly disguised as an artist.” Ron worked for the 1980 Moscow Olympics, painted for the Smithsonian, and was commissioned to paint a portrait of President George W. Bush for the White House. In 1999, a major secular art publication coined Ron’s painting, Safely Home, as one of the top 50 paintings in the world. His Resurrection of Jesus, the world’s largest contemporary depiction of the Resurrection, has virally been viewed by millions. What started off in art school as a vision for the synthesis of fine art and the Christian message, has turned into a whole new genre for Christian art and products.
DiCianni has collaborated on over fifty book projects and is a seven-time winner of the Gold Medallion Award for Excellence in Christian Literature. These projects, including the bestselling Tell Me series, have generated millions in sales and have been translated into languages all over the globe. He has worked closely with many notables, including Max Lucado, Joni Eareckson Tada, Jerry Jenkins, Randy Alcorn, Frank Peretti, and Michael Card. Additionally, Ron has written almost a dozen books of his own.
