Dunamis Words is currently accepting and reviewing only queries submitted through this website for the following genres:
Non-fiction
Memoir or Narrative Non-fiction (spiritual, transformational, celebrity, devotional, and classic), Christian Living, Marriage, Parenting, Leadership, Social Issues, Women’s Issues, Men’s Issues, Current Events, Business & Ministry, Gift books, Devotionals. Special Interest: Charismatic
Fiction
Completed manuscripts demonstrating Christ’s supernatural transformative power, Women’s fiction, Christian romance with strong Christian themes, Suspense, Books with film appeal.
We do not accept nor review e-mail queries with attachments, or unsolicited phone or postal mail queries.
Query Content
When submitting a query, please follow these guidelines:
On approximately one page (1500 characters), include:
- a concise description of your project, including genre, subject, unique elements, and target audience,
- your marketing vision, your writing experience and platform, and
- whether you’re currently submitting your query to other agents.
On approximately the next four to five pages, include a sample of your manuscript.
Ensure that your query is no more than the equivalent of six pages total (9,000 characters). Queries that are longer will not be reviewed.

If we’re interested in seeing more of your work, we’ll ask you to send the following as an email attachment:
Non-fiction
- a proposal, including the target audience, estimated sales (who and why), other similar books on the market that might compete, your ability to market the book, and any series potential,
- a chapter outline with a brief paragraph (one to three sentences) describing each chapter,
- your biography, and
- the first three chapters (approximately 50 pages double-spaced) of the manuscript.
Fiction
- a synopsis (5-6 pages double-spaced) that describes the plot and main characters,
- your biography, showing why you are qualified to write the book and your ability to market it, and
- the first three chapters (approximately 50 pages double-spaced) of the manuscript.
