Whether we battle cancer, depression or grief, who hasn’t wondered if they’ll make it?
I guess the answer depends on what we mean by “make it.”
A few years ago I learned that my husband was depressed.
Because I can’t control his moods (although I try to), if I’m not careful, I, too, can get depressed. When that happens, it’s usually when he’s coming out of an episode, so it leaves him wondering, hmm, what’s wrong with her? Why is she so down?
Aren’t you glad God understands we’re dust?
The good thing about weakness is it teaches us to flex our spiritual muscles and lean on God’s Almightiness.
Two thousand years ago, Jesus fought our battle in weakness and won! Today, we flex our spiritual muscles (no matter how puny), and find ourselves loving, forgiving, resisting sin and yes, trusting God will help us win! He will! It’s in weakness that we humbly surrender to Strength!
But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness. And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you. Romans 8:10-11

Hello Cheryl,
Thank You for sharing!
Yes, only by trusting God will help us to win! Without Him we are set for a failure…

Hi Slavik!
Yes, trust in God is huge. When Abraham trusted God, it was credited to him as righteousness. I pray God uses my comfort gift book, “A Friend in the Storm,” to help people draw closer to God so they’ll trust Him in ways they’ve never trusted Him before. Thanks for your comment. Blessings on your day!
