A little here, a little there, as days and nights accrue,

Let Scripture wrap you warm and tight through nights and shiver-days;
Thank God for rain and storms because you’re led in all your ways.
Like light and sunrays, you break through… slogs, sludge, and soil gone wrong.
Since Christ the Lord pumps in your veins, He’ll see you finish strong.
His love in you propels you on beyond all fear and strife.
Stand tall, sweet rose of God, it’s time… to spill your fragrant life.

Wow Cheryl God Bless you! Thank you so much for being obedient in writing this. Before I even saw a giveaway I knew I had to respond. Please pray that I look back at these words every day for the next week. Feeling as a “rose” to the King of Kings and holding myself to my dreams is something I seriously struggle with. No matter what praise and adoration comes from my loved ones, I am tuned so often to block it out. Thank you again for the encouragement and beauty in your writing. I once met you at a conference, when in Minnesota Teen Challenge, and you blessed me with an autographed book! I enjoyed it very much, however, before I finished it I felt led to bless a sister in Christ who was graduating, knowing that someday I will be getting more books, for myself and for others. Your poem blessed me as all your writing does. I had a God-sized answer to 12 years of praying over a granddaughter adopted at birth. I now have a picture, a card with a long note, and I can sign my first name to all future correspondence and gifts. Only 6 more years until I am allowed to meet Ashton and give her a God-sized hug!
